Coriander And Coconut Chutney Recipe

Preparation Time: 5 Minutes

Cooking Time: 2 Minutes

Serving: 1 bowl

Ingredients for Grinding:

Ingredients Quantity
Coconut 1/2 cup
Coriander  Leaves 1 bunch
Green chilly 3-4
Garlic 5-6 flakes
Ginger 1/4 inch piece
Bengal gram lentil(roasted) 1 teaspoon
Water 1/4 cup
Salt to taste

Ingredients to Temper:

Mustard oil / vegetable oil 2 tbsp
Mustard seeds 1/4 teaspoon
Urad dal (dhuli) 1/2 teaspoon
Gram dal 1/2 teaspoon

Method:

1. Keep all the ingredients ready. In a grinder, add coconut, coriander leaves, green chilly, ginger, garlic, turmeric powder, water and chana dal. Grind it to make the fine paste.

2. Take out the ground paste in a bowl. Heat the pan with mustard oil, temper with mustard seeds, urad and chana dal.  Delicious Coriander and coconut chutney is ready to serve, Serve with Idli and Dosa.
