Serving: 1 bowl
Ingredients for Grinding:
Ingredients | Quantity |
Coconut | 1/2 cup |
Coriander Leaves | 1 bunch |
Green chilly | 3-4 |
Garlic | 5-6 flakes |
Ginger | 1/4 inch piece |
Bengal gram lentil(roasted) | 1 teaspoon |
Water | 1/4 cup |
Salt | to taste |
Ingredients to Temper:
Mustard oil / vegetable oil | 2 tbsp |
Mustard seeds | 1/4 teaspoon |
Urad dal (dhuli) | 1/2 teaspoon |
Gram dal | 1/2 teaspoon |
Method:
1. Keep all the ingredients ready. In a grinder, add coconut, coriander leaves, green chilly, ginger, garlic, turmeric powder, water and chana dal. Grind it to make the fine paste.
2. Take out the ground paste in a bowl. Heat the pan with mustard oil, temper with mustard seeds, urad and chana dal. Delicious Coriander and coconut chutney is ready to serve, Serve with Idli and Dosa.
