Homemade Pizza Recipe

There may be hardly anyone who doesn’t like Pizza, if you ask me, I am mad about it. This is my first attempt to prepare pizza at home and surprisingly it turned out to be awesome, even better than the ones we get at Dominos Smile  or maybe because I’ve put my efforts into it. But try it yourself, it’s very easy to prepare and doesn’t take much time. I am sure you are going to love it.

preparation Time: 10 Minutes

Cooking Time: 15-20 Minutes

For Dough:

Ingredients Quantity
All purpose flour (Maida) 1 cup
Sugar 1/2 teaspoon
Salt 1/4 teaspoon
Olive Oil 2 teaspoon
Dry yeast 1 teaspoon
Milk 1/2 cup
Water As needed

For Topping:

Ingredients Quantity
Paneer 200 gram
Mozzarella Cheese as needed
Capsicum 1
Tomato 1
Dry red chilli flakes 1/4 teaspoon
Oregano herbs 1/4 teaspoon
Pepper powder 1/8 teaspoon
Pizza sauce 2 teaspoon

Method :

1. Take the flour in a broad bowl and keep it aside. Now take the milk in another bowl and  add dry yeast, sugar, salt, olive oil. Let it rest for 10-15 minutes till you get some foam on the top. That means yeast is working.

2. Add yeast-milk mixture to the flour and mix it well. Knead the flour well to make the soft and elastic dough.

3. Now cover the dough with a muslin cloth and keep it aside for 2-3 hours till you get the dough has doubled in size.

4. Here is shown a picture of doubled dough. Divide the dough into 3 equal portions. Take one portion of the dough and roll the dough just like you do while making chapattis, this would give us our required base for pizza (as shown below in picture). Make sure you keep it thin because it will get thicker after baking it.

5.Take pizza base on aluminium foil. Now Spread pizza sauce on the pizza base.

6. Sprinkle some cheese on the pizza sauce. Arrange the toppings as you want.

7. Add the grated cheese to cover the toppings as shown below in the picture.

8. Preheat the oven at 200 degree Celsius and bake for 20- 25 minutes. Bake till base turns golden brown.

9. Now Take out the Pizza from the Oven, Cut with the help of the knife. Sprinkle Oregano herbs, red chilli flakes and a thyme . Serve hot
