Delicious Gulabjamun deep fried sweet dumplings stewed in sugar syrup. How to make gulabjamun at home.

Ingredients | Quantity |
Khoya | 2 cup |
All purpose flour | 1 and half cup |
Baking Soda | 2 pinches |
Milk | 1 cup |
Sugar | 500 gram |
Cardamom green | 2 |
Refined oil | for deep frying |
Method:
1. Mix well all purpose flour, khoya and cooking soda. Now knead all of them together to make smooth dough. you knead little milk to form a smooth dough. Dough should be soft.
2. Now make small ping pong size balls from the dough as shown below in picture. Heat the pan with oil and deep fry these balls on very low flame till jamuns are golden brown in color.
3. To make sugar syrup, combine sugar and water in a flat bottomed broad pan and simmer on a low heat until sugar dissolves. Add crushed cardamom green in sugar syrup. Drop the hot jamuns in warm sugar syrup and leave it for 10 minutes to soak the sugar syrup.
