Basmati Rice | 1 cup |
Onion (chopped) | 1 |
Spring Onion (finely chopped) | 1 bunch |
Fran’s beans (chopped) | 100 gram |
Cabbage (chopped) | 250 gram |
Capsicum (diced) | 2 |
Ginger (finely chopped) | 1/2 inch piece |
Garlic (chopped) | 5 flakes |
Green Chillies (chopped) | 6 |
Dry red chilli | 3 |
Cumin seeds | 1/4 teaspoon |
Tal makhana | 100 gram |
Soya Sauce | 1/2 teaspoon |
Chilli Sauce | 1/2 teaspoon |
Salt | As needed |
Asafoetida | 1/8 teaspoon |
Method:
1. Wash and Soak the rice in enough water for 15 minutes and drain, Boil water, add rice and little salt, Cook uncovered on low heat till rice is tender .Don’t overcook rice. Each grain of rice should be separate. When rice is done, drain and add soon cold water and drain again using a large sieve and set aside.
2. Heat oil in a kadhai or pan , Add Cumin seeds , garlic , ginger ,dry red chilli and asafoetida. Then add Onion and Green chillies , stir for a minutes. Now Add talmakhana and fry for 1 more minutes.
3. Now add Spring onion ,capsicum , Fran’s beans . Stir for 2 minutes. Then add cabbage and fry for some more minutes.
4.Now add Soya sauce and again fry for 5 minutes. Then add boiled Rice , salt and little chilli sauce.Cook for 2-3 minutes . Serve Hot With Manchurian and Spicy Chilly Paneer..
