Veg Manchurian Recipe At Home | Vegetable Manchurian

Prepare this Special Manchurian on a special Saturday evening or anytime you want. Make sure you prepare Fried Rice as well to have with it. It’s awesome when you treat your loved ones with a delicious meal.

Ingredients Quantity
Cabbage 2 cup  (grated)
Carrot  1 cup (grated)
Capsicum 100 gram (chopped)
French beans 50 gram (chopped)
All purpose flour ( Maida) 5 teaspoon
Salt as needed
Green Chillies 4 (chopped)
Onion 1 (chopped)
Ginger 1/2 inch piece (chopped)
Garlic 5 flakes (chopped)
Blanched Tomato (puree) 3 cup
Soya Sauce 1 teaspoon
Ajinomoto 1/4 teaspoon
Spring onion 1/4 cup
Paneer 100 gram for garnish
Corn Flour 4  teaspoon
Pepper powder 1/2 teaspoon
Chilli sauce 2 teaspoon
Sugar 1 teaspoon

Method:

For Vegetable Balls  :

1. Mix grated cabbage and carrots in a bowl and squeeze the water out from them. Now and add capsicum, corn Starch, soya bean, all-purpose flour, pepper powder, and 1 teaspoon soya sauce, chopped chillies and salt to it.

2. Make small lumps the size of a ping pong ball or like Koftas.If you find it difficult to form balls, sprinkle a little water to bind the mixture. Heat Oil In a pan or kadhai , Deep fry the Balls in hot oil on low flame until golden brown in color. Drain it on absorbent paper and keep it aside.

For Manchurian Gravy / Sauce:

3. Now in a separate pan heat 4 teaspoon oil. Sauté with garlic, ginger , green chilies and onion. Now add Spring onion, french beans and capsicum . Stir for a minute.Then add tomato puree into the pan.

4. Then add Soya sauce, salt, pepper powder, ajinomoto, sugar and chilli sauce. Bring it to a boil.

5. Now add 2 cup of water into the pan for gravy and bring it to boil . Then add deep fried balls to gravy . Mix  cornflour with half of a cup of cold water and stir into it. Cook vegetable Manchurian for 5 -6 minutes till the gravy starts thickens and silky in texture. Switch off the flame and garnish with grated Paneer.

6. Serve Hot With Fried Rice .
