I’ve been told by my non-vegetarian friends that if I am not having their Chicken Rolls, I am missing on something in life.
Well, I don’t agree, I love my veg rolls as much as they love their non-veg rolls, and I can have so much variety of it, just like this Mixed stuffing roll which has not one but three layers of awesome stuffings. This is not the first recipe of a veg roll that I am sharing on the blog, but I am as excited as I was when I shared the first veg roll.
It is so good, tastes yummy, hopefully, you can imagine the taste just by looking at the photos below. I would love if you take some time out and prepare this for yourself. I am sure you are going to love it.

Ingredients for Paratha :

Ingredients for the first Stuffing:
Rajma(boiled) | 1/2 cup |
Onion | 1 |
Garam masala powder | 1/2 teaspoon |
Chaat masala | 1/4 teaspoon |
Green chilly | 1 |
Salt | to taste |
Coriander leaves | 2 tablespoon |
Lime juice | 2 teaspoon |
Coriander powder | 1/4 teaspoon |
Ingredients for the second stuffing:
Potato (boiled, peeled and mashed) | 1 cup |
Vegetable oil | 2 teaspoon |
Cumin seeds/ zeera | 1/2 teaspoon |
Turmeric powder | 1/4 teaspoon |
Salt | to taste |
Coriander leaves | 2 tablespoon |
Green peas | 1/4 cup |
Red chilly powder | 1/2 teaspoon |
Ingredients for the third Stuffing:
Paneer (chopped) | 1 cup |
Butter | 2 tablespoon |
Ginger-garlic paste | 1 teaspoon |
Tomato puree | 1/2 cup |
Salt | to taste |
Garam masala powder | 1/2 teaspoon |
Cashew nuts powder | 2 tablespoon |
Kasoori methi | 1/2 teaspoon |
Method:
1. Take all the ingredients given in table “ Ingredients for the first stuffing” in a bowl and mix it well. First stuffing is ready, keep it aside.
2. Heat the non stick pan with oil and temper with cumin seeds. When it starts crackle add boiled green peas. Sauté for few minutes.
3.Then add boiled potato, turmeric powder, red chilly powder, salt and coriander leaves. Mix it well and cook it for few minutes with continuous stirring with ladle. Now the second stuffing is ready for layering the paratha. Keep it aside.
4. Heat another non stick pan with butter and add ginger-garlic paste. Sauté for 2-3 minutes. Then add chopped Paneer cubes.
5. Add tomato puree and red chilly powder in the pan. Cook it for 2-3minutes till oil shows separately.
6. Add in cashew nuts powder, salt and kasoori methi. Mix it well. Switch off the flame. Now the third stuffing is ready. Keep it aside.
7. Take the flour, salt, oil and curd in a broad bowl and mix it well. Knead the flour with water to make soft elastic dough. Divide the dough into 8 equal portions. We will be using 4 portions for one paratha, and other 4 for another paratha.
8. Take one portion of the dough and roll it like a chapatti into a circle of 9-10 inches in diameter.
9. Put the chapatti on the hot tawa, then turn it. Apply some butter on the one side of the chapati and cook it till light golden spots appear from the other side. We don’t need to cook it from both the side. but you can if you want to actionsolar.net. Now rolled the other dough into a chapati with a circle of 8-9 inches in diameter, third will be 7-8 inches and fourth will be 6-7 inches, cook all the three like we cooked the first chapati (i.e, from one side only)
10. Take the first (the biggest in size) Chapati and spread the first stuffing on it, put the 2 second paratha (smaller than the first) on it and spread the second stuffing on it.
11. Then place the third paratha and put the third stuffing on it and then put the fourth paratha.
12. Now roll it over like a normal Roll and slice it into two or three peices. Serve it with chutney or sauce.
