Here is the recipe of Cucumber and Carrot Raita I prepared along with the Nutrella in the Spinach Gravy, the recipe of which I’ve already shared on the blog. You can prepare this Raita for any type of dish you want. Cucumber gives it a very refreshing taste and is very light as well. This Raita also goes well with any type of Biryani whether it is veg Biryani or non-veg Biryani, you will simply love it.

Ingredients for Raita:
Ingredients | Quantity |
Cucumber | 1/2 cup |
Yoghurt/ Curd/ Dahi | 500 gram |
Carrot | 1/2 cup |
Salt/ Black salt | 1/2 teaspoon |
Black pepper | 1/2 teaspoon |
Cumin powder | 1/4 teaspoon |
Method:
1. Take the curd in a bowl and beat well till it becomes smooth and creamy.
2. Add chopped cucumber and carrot to the curd. ( You can grate the cucumber and carrot too)
3. Add salt, pepper powder and cumin powder to it. Mix it well. Delicious raita is ready to serve, serve chilled.
