This cheese potato balls are easy to prepare and require things that you generally have in your kitchen.
I mashed boiled potatoes and did a filling of cheese cubes, deep fried them and they are ready to be served along with Chai or any beverage you want.
It works as a perfect starter meal as well.

Ingredients | Quantity |
Potato ( Boiled, peeled and mashed) | 5 no’s |
Onion | 1 |
Carom seeds | 1/4 teaspoon |
Red chilli powder | 1 teaspoon |
Red chilli flakes | 1//4 tsp |
Salt | to taste |
Pepper Powder | 1/4 teaspoon |
Tomato ketchup | 1 teaspoon |
Red chilli sauce | 1 teaspoon |
Bread crumbs | 2 cup |
Corn flour | 3 teaspoon |
Oil | for deep frying |
Cheese | 10 small cubes |
Method:
1. Heat 2 teaspoon oil in a wok or pan and sauté with carom seeds, when it crackles add onion and fry it until it is light golden brown in color. Add red chilli powder, pepper powder, red chilli sauce, tomato ketchup, Red chilli flakes and salt. Mix it well and cook for 20 seconds.
2. Then add mashed potatos and mix it well. Switch off the flame.
3. Take ping – pong size ball from the mixture and flatten it with your hands and put the cheese cubes in the centre. Roll it to make balls. Prepare all the balls like this.
4. Mix corn flour with 5 teaspoon water and dip the ball in this batter then put it in bread crumbs mixture. Coat the bread crumbs from all the sides.
5. Prepare all the balls like this as shown in the picture.
6. Heat the oil in a wok and deep fry balls till it is golden brown in the color.
7. Take it out from the oil and keep it in a tissue paper to absorb extra oil. Cheese potato balls are ready and serve hot with your favourite sauce.
