Sesame seed balls are especially popular during the Chinese New Year season. I love to eat these balls. Try it, I am sure you are going to love it .
Preparation Time: 15 Minutes

Ingredients | Quantity |
Rice flour | 1 cup |
White Till | 1/2 cup |
Peanuts | 1/2 cup |
Sugar | 3/4 cup |
Water | 1 cup |
Oil | for deep frying |
Method:
1. Take 1 cup water and sugar in a pan and boil it for 5 minutes or till sugar dissolves completely. Take rice flour in a bowl.
2. Knead the rice flour with the sugar syrup to make smooth and soft dough as shown below in picture. Heat the pan and roast peanut.
3. Then peel off the skin of peanut and grind it coarsely.
4. Take peanut mixture in a bowl, add 2 teaspoon oil and 1 teaspoon water and mix well.
5. Pinch off a piece of dough roughly the size of a golf ball. Use your thumb to make a deep indentation in the dough . Put 1 teaspoon of peanut paste into a ball and shape the dough over the top to seal as shown below in picture.
6. Continue with the remainder of the dough.
7. Dip a ball into the small bowl of water (this will help the sesame seeds stick to the ball). Roll the ball over the sesame seeds.
8. Repeat the process with the remainder of the balls. . Deep fry the sesame seed balls, a few at a time, in the hot oil till golden brown from all the sides. Press each ball down with a flat spatula against the bottom of the wok for about 10 seconds until it begins to puff, then release it and move on to the next ball.
9. Drain the deep-fried sesame seed balls on paper towels and serve hot.
