Ingredients | Quantity |
Chickpeas | 1 cup |
Fresh Coconut grated | 1/2 cup |
Onion | 1 |
Green chillies | 3 |
Salt | as needed |
Coriander leaves | for garnish |
Cumin seeds | 1/4 teaspoon |
Method:
1. Soak Chickpeas overnight. Take chickpeas into the pressure cooker, add 1/2 cup water and 1/2 teaspoon salt. Cook for 4-5 minutes. Now heat the oil in a pan, add cumin seeds, green chillies and onion. Fry till onions are translucent.
2. Now add boiled chickpeas and cook for 2-3 minutes. Garnish with fresh coconut grated and coriander leaves. Serve hot with tea or coffee.
