Oats Cupcake Recipe

A very delicious and easy cake made with oats, sugar, chocolate and flour. Oats is vey healthy and nutritious. Don’t over mix the batter otherwise cake can be dry or tough. Once the liquid ingredients are added to the dry, mix the batter by hand just until the flour is moistened. Too much mixing can cause the cake to be dry. Follow my easy recipe with step by step pictures.

Preparation Time: 10 Minutes

Cooking Time: 30 Minutes

Ingredients Quantity
Oats 1 & 1/2 cup
Flour 3/4 cup
Baking soda 1/4 teaspoon
Baking powder 1 teaspoon
Sugar 3/4 cup
Butter 100 gram
Dark chocolate 1/2 cup
Milk 1 cup
Vanilla essence 1 teaspoon
Cashew nuts/ kaju 1/4 cup
Currants/ Kishmish 1/4 cup

Method:

1. Take Oats in a grinder and grind it to make fine powder.

2. Take a bowl and add flour. Now mix the grinded oats, baking powder and baking soda into flour. Mix it well and keep it aside.

3. Take another bowl and add powdered sugar into it. Then add melted butter.

4. Add melted dark chocolate, vanilla essence and milk. Mix it well.

5. Pour the chocolate batter into flour mixture.

6.  Mix it well and add dry fruits. Grease the baking cup and cake mould with butter and pour the cake batter into it.

7. Pre-heat oven to 180 C and bake it for 30 minutes. Cake is readySmile. Enjoy this delicious and yummy cake with your near and dear ones.
