Starting the new year with a recipe which was the result of an experiment of combining two different recipes. Lete name it Choco Idli Cake. You guessed it right, it’s Chocolate cake prepared like we prepare Idli, end result? A bit of unique flavour.

|Semolina/ Rava/ Sooji||3/4 cup|
|Powdered Sugar||1/2 cup|
|Cocoa powder||1/2 cup|
|Baking Powder||1 teaspoon|
|Vanilla essence||1 teaspoon|
|Cardamom green powder||1/2 teaspoon|
|Water||to make the batter|
1. In a bowl, add all the ingredients given in the table above. Add water and make lumps free batter.
2. Grease the idli mold with ghee and fill each mold with the batter.
3. Add 1 cup of water into pressure cooker and put the idli stand into the cooker. Discard the whistle from the cooker, and close the lid of the cooker. Cook it on a high flame for 2-3 minutes, then keep the flame low and cook for another 7-8 minutes. Switch off the flame. Open the lid of the cooker and take out the idli stand from the cooker. Delicious Choco idli Cake is ready to serve, You can garnish the cake with chocolate syrup too. But I had like this.
