It is very rare that I find people who love Mushroom, taking my chances of finding people like me, who love Mushroom, by posting this delicious recipe on the blog. Infact, I love everything that has Mushroom in it, be it the Mushroom Sandwich, Mushroom Rice or Mushroom Pizza.
Mushroom soup is a very healthy starter, if you get bored of Tomato soup, you can try this recipe and treat your taste buds.
Follow my simple and easy recipe with step by step instructions.
Preparation Time: 5 Minutes
Cooking Time: 10 Minutes
Ingredients | Quantity |
Button Mushroom | 250 gram |
Low fat milk | 1 cup |
Pepper Powder | 1/4 teaspoon |
Salt | To taste |
Oregano Herbs | 1/8 teaspoon |
Corn flour | 1 teaspoon |
Method:
1. Clean and wash the button mushroom and cut it into small pieces as shown below in the picture.
2. Boil chopped mushroom along with milk for about 5 minutes or till it cooked properly. Now switch off the flame and let it cool completely by itself. Take out the mushroom pieces from the milk and grind it along with 2 teaspoon water to make fine paste. ( Don’t discard the milk, keep it aside )
3. Now mix the ground paste and 2 cup water into milk and cook it on medium flame.
4. Add pepper powder, salt and oregano herbs. Dissolve 1 teaspoon corn flour in 3 teaspoon water and add it slowly into pan and keep stir while adding. Cook for about 2-3 minutes, Mushroom soup is ready, serve hot.
