The last time I had the best macaroni was last years at a local restaurant when we went on a vacation to another city. I wanted to have that kind of Macaroni again but was clueless of what I had last year, I could just guess how it was, and with a bit of experiment (and some Googleing) I was able to find what I actually had.
It was Macaroni Alfredo, at lease that what Google tells me. So, I tried preparing it, and was able to get the taste in the second attempt (First was so bad that I didn’t have the courage to share it on the blog).
So, here is the Macaroni Alfredo, the best Macaroni I’ve ever had. You can find the step by step recipe below along with photos. But, before you continue, let me tell you that you are free to remove or add some ingredients as per your likings.

Cooking Time: 25 Minutes

Ingredients | Quantity |
Macaroni | 1 cup |
Baby corn | 3 |
Capsicum | 1 |
onion | 1 |
Oregano herbs | ½ teaspoon |
Red chilly flakes | ½ teaspoon |
Salt | to taste |
Butter | 2 tablespoon |
Cream | 1 tablespoon |
Mozzarella cheese | ¼ cup |
Tomato | 1 |
Milk | 1-½ cup |
Pepper powder | ¼ teaspoon |
All-purpose flour | 1 tablespoon |
Method:
1. Put 2-1/2 cup of water and 1 teaspoon oil in a microwave proof bowl. Microwave uncovered for 2 minutes. Add macaroni, mix it well. Microwave uncovered for 4 minutes.
2. Leave it in hot water for 5 minutes, then drain the water and wash with cold water.
3. In another micro proof bowl, microwave the butter for 30 seconds. Add baby corn, onion, capsicum and oregano herbs. Microwave uncovered for 4 minutes.
4. Add flour and mix it well. Microwave uncovered for another 30 seconds. Add milk, red chilli flakes, pepper powder and salt. Microwave uncovered for 5 minutes. Stirring once in between.
5. The sauce should be thick enough as shown below in the image. Add cooked macaroni and mix it well.
6. Add grated cheese, cream, coriander leaves and sliced tomato. Microwave uncovered for 2 minutes before serving. Delicious macaroni alfredo is ready to serve.
