A person who doesn’t love Chocolate can’t be my friend (Just kidding). But seriously, can anyone not love chocolate? Everyone n my family loves it, in fact my sister is crazy about it, crazy more than me.
I being a food blogger, have the convenience of preparing things like this and call it work. But still, I am the one who gets to eat it and I love that.
So, here is my recipes of Chocolate cake which I have tried to keep simple. It should take less than an hour to prepare it but will be totally worth it when members of your family smile at you saying you are the best. :-).

Method:
1. Sieve flour, cocoa powder, baking powder and salt in a medium bowl. In another medium bowl, beat eggs.
2. Add in milk, vanilla essence, sugar and softened butter. Beat well until the mixture is fluffy. Now add liquid egg mixture in a flour mixture and mix it well.
3. Grease baking mold ( the base and sides of molds) or tin with butter and dust with flour. Pour batter into greased mold.
4. Pre-heat oven to 170 C and bake it for 30-35 minutes. Remove it from the oven and leave it to cool in the mold. When the cake is cool cut horizontally into two.
5. Remove the top crust of the cake with knife as shown below in the picture. Prepare sugar syrup by dissolving 5 teaspoon sugar, vanilla essence in 1/4 cup water. Sprinkle 2-3 teaspoon sugar syrup on the cake.
6. Pour cream into a pan and add icing sugar and heat until it is about to boil.
7. Cut the chocolate into small chunks and take it into bowl. Pour boiled cream over the chocolate and mix it well. Add in vanilla essence and stir until the chocolate has melted .
8. Sandwich the layers together with frosting.
9. Pour rest of the chocolate frosting on the top and let it fall down. With the knife you can smooth the sides of the cake. Decorate with some grated chocolate and colorful cake dressing.
