Colourful Cinnamon Cake

This Colourful Cinnamon Cake is for Kids as they love colorful things. It might be tough to convince them to eat something delicious but making them eat something like this is less of a task. My 2-year boy does not get convinced to eat something until it looks exciting. Even the 30-year-old kid loved it. 🙂

Preparation Time: 5 Minutes

Cooking Time: 30-35 Minutes

Ingredients Quantity
All purpose flour 2 cup
Sugar 1 cup
Milk 1  1/2 cup
Butter 1/2 cup
Baking powder 1 tsp
Vanilla essence 1 tsp
Egg 4
Cashew nuts powder 2 tbsp
Almonds powder 2 tbsp
Cinnamon powder 1/4 tsp
Food color (Orange, green, yellow, lemon ) a pinch

Method:

1. Add butter and sugar in a broad bowl and beat it with hand blender for 1 minutes. Add egg and butter-sugar mixture in a mug and blend it for another 30 seconds.

2. Add vanilla essence, baking powder, milk and flour in a mug and mix it well.

3. Now add cinnamon powder, ground almond and cashew nuts powder and mix it well. Divide the batter into four equal portions into a small bowl. Add one color in each bowl.

4. Grease the baking pan with butter and pour the batter from all the four bowls at once (take help of someone to pour two of them while you pour from the two). Microwave it for 30-35 mins on 80 Degree Celcius. Keep to aside to cool down and cut into desired shape.
