Today I bring you the Awesomeness of Besan into Ladoo. I am sure the above photo is increasing the temptation of having this ladoo right now,and you surely can, in just 15 minutes. This Ladoo is delicious and traditional sweet which is made up of chickpea flour. If you have ever tasted besan ka halwa, if you more likely to love this recipe as it is dry and can be consumed as an after meal sweet or it is also suited best to serve your guests with water.
Preparation Time: 2 minutes
Cooking Time: 5 Minutes
Ingredients | Quantity |
Besan / Chickpea flour | 1 Cup |
Ghee | 1/2 cup |
Sugar | 1 cup |
Cardamom green | 2-3 |
Pistachio | for garnish |
Method:
1. Roast the chickpea flour with continuous stirring with spatula on a low flame till the flour is light golden brown in the color as shown in the image below. Switch off the flame.
2. Grind the sugar along with cardamom green to make fine powder. Take the roasted flour in a bowl/thali or plate and add ground sugar and melted ghee.
3. Mix it well with hands and make ping-pong size balls as shown in the image below. Prepare all the ladoos like this. Apply some ghee on your hands while making the ladoos. Garnish with chopped pistachio, ladoo is ready to eat.
