I have been asked several times to shares recipes for kids as it is quite a job to make them eat healthy things. All they love is maggie noodles, chips, fries etc. But we have given an alternate for each of them.
Here is another recipe to make them have the healthy and refreshing watermelons, without you having to run after them (true story). So, making them have it in the shape of ice sticks and easy than asking them to have the plate.
Below is the step by step method of preparing popsicle along with photos. I hope your kids will love it.
Preparation Time: 5 Minutes
Serving: 6 (1 for each)
Ingredients | Quantity |
Watermelon Cubes (de-seeded) | 3 cup |
Sugar | 3 tablespoon |
Cream | 1 cup |
Raspberry essence | 1 teaspoon |
Method:
1. Take the watermelon cubes in a grinder and grind it to make fine puree/juice. Strain it using a strainer.
2. Take cream, sugar and essence in a bowl and beat it with the hand blender until soft peaks form. Pour half of the cream in the popsicle mould and top with half of the watermelon juice.
3. Put the cap and freeze it for 8-10 hours. We don’t have to mix it right now, (I used my leftover cream which I used for vanilla cake frosting)
4. Enjoy!!
