Rajma With a combination of potato yummy !Rajma is the most famous north Indian delicacy made with red kidney beans cookes in a delicious gravy served with hot steaming rice.Try my version of Rajma with potato.

Rajma | 2 cup |
potato (boiled and diced) | 2 |
Onion | 1 |
Ginger | 1/2 inch piece |
Garlic | 5 flakes |
Garam masala Powder | 1/2 teaspoon |
Turmeric Powder | 1/4 teaspoon |
Coriander Powder | 1 teaspoon |
Tomato | 2 |
Amchur powder | 1/4 teaspoon |
Salt | To taste |
Bay Leaf | 2 |
Coriander Leaves | 2 teaspoon chopped |
Method:
1. Soak Rajma overnight. Wash and pressure cook the Rajma with salt and 2 cup water. Keep aside ,Don’t strain remaining water .
2. Heat oil in a pan, add onion, Bay leaf , and chillies. Fry until they turn brown.
3. Grind ginger , garlic and tomato.
4. Now Add this paste into pan ,add red chilli powder ,turmeric powder ,coriander powder ,salt ,garam masala powder and amchur powder.
5. Cook gravy till oil shows separately.
6. Add the boiled Rajma and boiled potato with remaining water and mix well.
7. Simmer the flame and cook till boil.
8. Remove from fire. Garnish Rajma with coriander leaves and serve hot with chapattis or rice.
