Mushroom Manchurian Recipe | Mushroom Manchurian With Gravy

This recipe of Manchurian is for those who love Mushroom.  I prepared this for my husband as he likes it very much, just like the Mushroom soup or the mushroom pulao. He loves any recipe of mine if Mushroom is one of the ingredients in it.

This Mushroom Manchurian can be had with fried rice, the recipe of which is also published on the blog earlier.

Ingredients For Mushroom Batter :

Ingredients Quantity
Mushroom 2 cup
Corn flour 1/2 cup
All Purpose flour 1/4 cup
Red chilli powder 1/2 teaspoon
Ginger-garlic paste 1 teaspoon
Salt as needed

Ingredients For Gravy :

Oil 4 teaspoon
Garlic chopped 2 teaspoon
Onion (White part ) chopped 2 teaspoon
Onion chopped 1
Capsicum 1
Soya sauce 1 teaspoon
Green chilli sauce 3 teaspoon
Tomato sauce 1 teaspoon
Vinegar 1/2 teaspoon
Onion (Green Part) 1/4 cup
Salt as needed
Water 2 cup
Corn flour 3 teaspoon dissolved with 1/4cup of water

Method:

1. Cut mushroom into 2-3 pieces.  In a medium bowl add corn flour, all purpose flour, red chilli powder, salt and ginger-garlic paste.

2. Add 1/2 cup of water and mix it well. Now add mushroom pieces and mix it. Heat oil into wok and deep fry the mushroom piece until golden and crisp.

3. Heat another wok with a teaspoon oil and sauté with garlic and White part of onion. Cook it for about 1-2 minutes.

4. Add onion and capsicum and cook it on high flame. Don’t over cook the capsicum. Add in green chilli sauce, tomato sauce, soya sauce, salt, vinegar, onion green part and simmer it on high flame for 30 second.

5. Add water and let it boil. Mix corn flour with 1/4 teaspoon of water and add it into wok as shown below in the picture.

6. Add fried mushroom and simmer it on medium heat for 4-5 minutes. Garnish with green part of onion and serve hot with fried rice or noodles.
