Today I made this Bhindi Sabzi in Dinner for my family because they love Bhindi a lot whether it is made with Gravy or is just Dry. This vegetable is made with the combination of Capsicum and Ladyfinger. I learnt this recipe from Vah chef, I changed a bit in recipe but its still yummy. Learn how to make Kadhai Bhindi (ladyfinger).

Ladyfinger (Bhindi) | 250 gram |
Tomato | 2 medium size |
Onion | 2 |
Cumin seeds | 1/4 teaspoon |
Green Chillies | 5 |
Garlic | 5 flakes |
Turmeric Powder | 1/4 teaspoon |
Red chilli powder | 1/2 teaspoon |
Coriander Powder | 1/2 teaspoon |
Ginger | 1/2 inch piece |
Garam masala powder | 1/2 teaspoon |
Capsicum | 1 |
Coriander Leaves | For garnish |
Method:
1. Wash and Dice ladyfinger as shown below. Heat 2 teaspoon oil in a pan , add diced lady finger, fry on medium heat for 5 minutes and keep aside.
2. Heat oil in non-stick pan, add cumin seeds, Chopped ginger and garlic. Stir for 1 minutes then add onion. Cook till onions are light brown.
3. Now add chopped tomato, green chillies and salt, cook covered until tomato is mushy. Then add red chilli powder, garam masala powder, turmeric powder and coriander powder. cook for 2 minutes.
4. Then add capsicum and 2 teaspoon water. Cook covered again for 2-3 minutes, then add fried ladyfinger (Bhindi). Mix well and cook on medium heat for 5 minutes. Serve hot With Chapattis.
