Nutrela is considered as a healthy food which has good amount of protein. It is prepared in tomato paste and milk which gives it a completely different taste enhancing the flavor. So, it works as a regular meal as well as a special one for those who are vegetarians.
I tried it for the first time and everyone at my home seems to be liking it and approving it to be a egular meal to prepare.

Ingredients | Quantity |
Nutrela | 2 cup |
Onion | 2 , 1 for ground and 1 for frying |
Ginger garlic paste | 2 teaspoon |
Cumin seeds | 1 teaspoon |
Black pepper | 1/2 teaspoon |
Cardamom brown | 1 |
Cardamom green | 2 |
Red chilli powder | 1 teaspoon |
Vegetable Powder / Sabzi masala | 1 teaspoon |
Tomato | 2 |
Almond | 5 no’s |
Cashew nuts | 5 no’s |
Milk | 2 cup |
Green chilli | 3 |
Method:
1. Boil nutrela with 2 glass of water until cooked properly and strain it.
2. Heat the oil in a wok and fry boiled nutrela until golden brown in color.
3. Grind onion, ginger-garlic paste, cardamom green & brown, cumin seeds, almond, cashews and black pepper. Then add in tomato, red chilli powder and vegetable powder.
4. Heat the oil in another wok and sauté with chopped onion and green chilli. Fry it until golden brown in color.
5. Add in ground paste and salt and cook it on medium heat till oil shows separately. Add in fried nutrela and milk. Cook covered on slow heat for about 5-6 minutes. Nutrela curry is ready, serve hot with chapatti or rice.
