Potato | 4 no’s |
Cauliflower | 1 medium size |
Tomato | 2 |
Onion | 1 |
Ginger-Garlic Paste | 2 teaspoon |
Cumin seeds | 1/2 teaspoon |
Cardamom brown | 1 |
Black Pepper | 1/4 teaspoon |
Red chilli powder | 1 teaspoon |
Turmeric Powder | 1/4 teaspoon |
Salt | To Taste |
Oil | 1/2 cup |
Fenugreek seeds | 1/4 teaspoon |
Method:
1. Peel off the skin of potato and cut it into medium size pieces, Cut cauliflower into small pieces and wash it. Heat the 1/4 cup oil in a kadhai or pan and add vegetables and tomato and fry it on medium heat for about 10 minutes.
2. Now grind onion, cumin seeds, black pepper, cardamom brown and ginger-garlic paste together to make a fine paste. Add red chilli powder, turmeric powder and salt in a jar.
3. Heat the oil in pressure cooker and saute with fenugreek seeds and add the ground paste.
4. Cook the spices on medium heat till oil shows separately. Add fried vegetables into cooker along with a glass of water and pressure cook for about 3 whistles on high heat. Let it cool by itself, Aloo gobi curry is ready, serve hot with chapattis or rice.
