I shared the recipe of Mushroom soup few days ago, few of our readers asked me to publish a recipe of Mushroom curry, so here is my recipe of Mushroom curry. Mushroom curry is a delecious meal and can be had with Rice in Lunch. It tastes equally divine with Rotis. You can follow my simple recipe with step by step instructions.

Ingredients | Quantity |
Mushroom | 250 gram |
Onion | 1 |
Cinnamon stick | 2 |
Cumin seeds | 1/2 teaspoon |
Cardamom green | 2 |
Yogurt | 1 cup |
Red chilli powder | 1 teaspoon |
Garam masala powder | 1/2 teaspoon |
Salt | to taste |
Oil | 5 teaspoon |
Green chilli sauce | 1 teaspoon |
Tomato puree | 1 cup |
Method:
1. Clean and wash the mushroom properly and cut it into small pieces as shown below in the picture.
2. Heat the oil in a pan or kadhai and fry the mushroom for about 5 minutes on high heat. Take it out from the pan and keep it aside.
3. In the same pan , heat the oil and sauté with onion, cumin seeds, cinnamon stick and cardamom green. When onion turns golden brown in the color add tomato puree.
4. Then add green chilli sauce, Red chilli powder, garam masala powder and salt. Cook the spices on slow heat till oil shows separately. Then add beaten yogurt and cook for another 8-10 minutes or till oil shows separately.
5. Add fried mushroom into spices and mix it well.
6. Add 1 cup water and let it cook for another 2-3 minutes. Mushroom Curry is ready, serve hot with chapatti or rice.
