There are two kind people, who like ladyfinger and who don’t like it. Those who like it are crazy about it, just like my husband. It is his favourite vegetable. Below is the recipe I tried yesterday and it was loved by him. Hope you like it.

Ingredients | Quantity |
Bhindi/ Ladyfinger | 1/2 kg |
Onion | 1 |
Cumin Seeds | 1/2 teaspoon |
Green chutney | 1 teaspoon |
Red chilli powder | 1 teaspoon |
Turmeric powder | 1/4 teaspoon |
Coriander Powder | 1 teaspoon |
Aamchur powder | 1/2 teaspoon |
Salt | As needed |
Tomato | 2 |
Kasuri methi | 1/4 teaspoon |
Method:
1. Wash, Clean the lady finger and pat dry. Cut them into 1-inch pieces as shown below in the picture. Heat the oil in a kadhai and fry the lady finger for about 10 minutes and keep aside.
2. Heat the oil in a kadhai/ Pan and saute with cumin seeds. Add onion and fry till light golden brown.
3. Then add green chutney and all the spices, tomato and salt. Cook on medium heat till oil shows separately as shown below in the picture.
4. Now add fried lady finger and mix well. Cook on medium heat for about to 7-8 minutes. Serve with Chapatti and rice.
