Here is yummy crunchy and munchy snacks Namakpara, also known as Nimki. It is made with just four ingredients and is amazing in taste. It is the best snack ever with tea time. I always make it in large quantity and store it in airtight container for later . Follow my easy recipe with step by step procedure and pictures.
Preparation Time: 10 Minutes
Cooking Time: 5 Minutes
Ingredients | Quantity |
All purpose flour | 2 cup |
Ajwain/ Carom seeds | 1/2 teaspoon |
Salt | 1/2 teaspoon or as needed |
Vegetable oil | for deep frying |
Method:
1.Take flour in a bowl and add carom seeds, salt and vegetable oil. Mix it well and add small amount of water to make soft dough as shown in pictures.
2.Take an orange size ball from the dough and roll it like a chapatti. Cut like this as shown below in picture.
3.Then cut diagonally to make this shape as shown below in picture.( Shape doesn’t matter, you can cut it into your heart desired shape)
4. Heat the wok with oil and deep fry the namakpara on high-medium heat till golden yellow in color. Namkeen Namakpara is ready and serve with tea
