Corn Patties Recipe| Corn Pakoda

For all those corn lovers I have a treat for you. Presenting the ultimate Corn Pakora. We all know the about the great taste of Corns and making it the pakora way is something….hmm I am out of words. The taste is beyond putting in words here so, please take a look at this Recipe, prepare it, have it and ask yourself. Was visiting Evergreen Recipes worth? Enjoy.

Preparation Time: 5 Minutes

Cooking Time: 5 Minutes

Ingredients Quantity
Corn 2 cup
Corn flour 1/4cup
All purpose flour 1/4 cup
Pepper powder 1/2 teaspoon
Salt as needed
Green chilli 2
Garlic 5 cloves
Coriander leaves 1/2 cup
Onion 1
Oil for deep frying


1.Take frozen corn or the fresh one in a microwaveable bowl and cook covered in microwave for about 3 minutes.

2.Blend onion, green chilli, coriander leaves and garlic coarsely.

3. Combine flour,corn flour, salt and pepper powder with cooked corn. Then add ground paste and  mix it well. Add small amount of water to get the pakora consistency.

4. Heat the wok with oil  and make patties from the mixture, deep fry the patties until golden brown in color from both the sides.

5. Drain it on tissue paper to absorbs extra oil. Corn pakora or Patties are ready, serve hot with your favourite sauce or green chutney.
