Here is my innovation of oats fritters. Some oats were left in my kitchen and I wanted to prepare something very healthy and delicious from oats. I combined oats with wheat flour and some spices. It turned out yummy in taste. You can enjoy this fritters as snacks with your tea. I enjoyed oats fritters with lemon tea . Follow my easy recipe with step by step pictures.
Preparation Time: 10 Minutes
Cooking Time: 25 –30 Minutes
Ingredients | Quantity |
Oats | 1 & 1/2 cup |
Wheat Flour | 1 cup |
Carom seeds | 1/4 teaspoon |
Salt | 1/4 teaspoon |
Pepper powder | 1/4 teaspoon |
Oregano herbs | 1/4 teaspoon |
Vegetable oil | 5 teaspoon |
Coriander leaves | 1/2 cup |
Butter | 5 teaspoon |
Method:
1. Take oats in grinder and grind it coarsely. Mix grinded oats and wheat flour in a bowl. Add carom seeds, vegetable oil, pepper powder, oregano herbs and salt.
2. Now add chopped coriander leaves and mix it well. Knead it to make soft dough.
3. Roll the dough to 3-4 inches of thickness. Now Cut it with the knife in square shape or you can also give the shape you want.
4. With the help of fork hole it on fritters as shown below in picture and spread butter over fritters.
5. Pre-heat oven to 180 C and bake it for 25 –30 minutes. Fritters are ready and let it cool for 15 minutes. Serve as evening snacks with tea.
