Dahi Phulki is little different from Dahi Vada which slight change on ingredients. It is prepared from chickpea flour and spices. It is most famous dish for Ramadan as well as in Eid. Follow my easy step by step recipe to make Dahi Phulki at Home.

Ingredients | Quantity |
Chickpea Flour/ Besan | 1 &1/2 cup |
Salt | as needed |
Cooking Soda | small pinch |
Green chilli | 5 |
Garlic | 5 cloves |
Coriander leaves | 1 bunch |
Cumin Seeds | 1/2 teaspoon |
Mustard oil | for frying and 2 teaspoon for temper |
Curd | 500 gram |
Method:
1. Take flour in a bowl and add soda and salt. Add small amount of water to make batter. Consistency should be thick.
2. Heat the oil in kadhai/ wok and drop 1 teaspoon batter into hot oil. Deep fry balls till light golden brown in color and take it out from the oil.
3. Boil 6 cup water in a pan and add 1/2 teaspoon salt. Drop 8-10 balls at a time in hot water and take it out from the hot water after 30 seconds.
4. Blend green chilli, garlic and coriander leaves to make chutney. Take curd in a bowl and beat well.
5. Now add green chutney and salt into beaten curd. Then add soaked Phulki into it and mix it well.
6. Heat 2 teaspoon oil and temper with cumin seeds. add tempered ingredients into phulki and mix it well. Dahi phulki is ready and serve chilled or hot
