Continuing my love for Paneer with this Delicious Reshmi Paneer recipe. Adraki Paneer, that I published few days ago was a hit, everyone loved it. So, here is another one that I loved cooking.
Being a food blogger is tough, I mean, whenever I buy Paneer ( and other things) I keep thinking of creating something different so that I can put that up on my blog. Not all the recipes make it to the blog, which means, the recipes that make it here, are worth it. Reshmi Paneer is one of them.

Ingredients | Quantity |
Paneer | 300 gram |
Onion (Chopped) | 1 |
Tomato (Thin slice) | 1 |
Tomato Puree | 1 cup |
Capsicum (Thin Slice) | 1 |
Ginger-garlic paste | 1 tbsp |
Coriander powder | 1 tsp |
Turmeric powder | 1/4 tsp |
Red chilli powder | 1 tsp |
Salt | to taste |
Cream | 1 cup |
Coriander leaves | 1/2 cup |
Garam masala powder | 1 tsp |
Cumin seeds | 1 tsp |
Water | 1/2 cup |
Vegetable oil | 1/4 cup |
Method:
1. Cut the paneer into a thin strips or like finger chips and chop onion. Slice capsicum and tomato. Heat the wok with oil and temper with cumin seeds, when it crackles add onion. Fry onions till translucent.
2. Add sliced tomato and capsicum and fry it on medium flame for 1 minutes. Then add ginger- garlic paste, coriander and turmeric powder and cook the spices on slow flame for another 30 seconds.
3. Add tomato puree, red chilli powder and salt. Cook the spices on low heat till oil shows separately or nice aroma comes from spices. Add water and chopped coriander leaves. Let it boil for once.
4. Boil the water in another pan and switch off the flame. Put the paneer strips into a hot water for 5 minutes. Drain the water and add paneer strips into the spices. Cook covered on medium heat for 3-4 minutes.
5. Switch off the flame and add cream and garam masala powder. Mix it well, delicious Reshmi paneer is ready to serve, Serve hot with Butter naan or chapatti.
