Kadhi is a North Indian Dish and most of the people love to eat with rice. It is simple, delicious and easy to prepare at home. Follow my easy recipe with step by step pictures.

Gram Flour/ Besan | 2 cup |
Turmeric powder | 1/2 teaspoon |
Salt | as needed |
Soda | a small pinch |
Dry Red chilli | 2 |
Green chilli | 2 |
Fenugreek seeds | 1/4 teaspoon |
Cloves | 2-3 |
Cinnamon stick | 2 |
Coriander seeds | 1/4 teaspoon |
Red chilli powder | 1 teaspoon |
Cumin seeds | 1/2 teaspoon |
Saunf | 1/2 teaspoon |
Curd | 2 cup |
Oil | for deep frying |
Coriander leaves | 1/2 cup |
Method:
1. Take a bowl, add gram flour, turmeric powder, green chilli, salt, soda and coriander leaves. Add small amount of water to make thick batter.
2. Heat the wok with oil and drop a teaspoon batter into hot oil and deep fry pakodi till light golden in color. Then take out the pakodi from oil and keep it aside. Take another bowl and add beaten curd, 2 teaspoon gram flour and salt and one glass water. Mix it well.
3. Heat the wok and add curd mixture into it. Let it boil for 2-3 minutes. For tempering, Heat the pan with 2 large teaspoon oil, temper with cumin seeds, saunf, fenugreek seeds, dry red chilli, coriander seeds, cloves, cinnamon stick and red chilli powder.
4. Pour the pakodi and temper ingredients into wok and immediately covered the wok so that kadhi can absorb the essence of temper ingredients. Cook covered on medium heat for about 10 minutes. Kadhi is ready and you can serve with rice or chapattis.
