I shared the recipe of the Bengali style Dum Aloo the other day, which I had with this luchi and here is the recipe of it.
It added to the deliciousness of the dum aloo, thought you can have it without any dish you want. Below is the step by step process of preparing these luchi. I hope you will like it.
Preparation Time: 10 Minutes
Cooking Time: 5-6 Minutes
|All purpose flour||1 cup|
|Vegetable oil||2 tbsp|
|Ghee/ vegetable oil||for deep frying|
|Water||to knead the dough|
- Sieve the flour in a bowl and add ghee and salt. Mix it well, add water and knead the flour well to make the soft and smooth dough.
2. Cover the dough with wet muslin cloth and keep it aside for 30 minutes. Now take the lemon size ball from the dough and roll it using the rolling into a 3-4 diameter in circle.
3. Drop it in the hot oil and cook it on a medium flame till light golden in color from both the sides. Do the same with the rest of the dough. Delicious luchi is ready, serve hot with dum aloo or any vegetables of your choice.
