Meetha Paratha Recipe

If you have a stubborn kid at home you must be knowing how tough it is to get them to have their meals. They have their own list of things they want to have. But they should have nutritious meals for their proper growth and health.

This is where you have to be creative with the food recipes for your children and that is where Meetha Paratha comes in.

Meetha Paratha is a sweetened bread made from flour and sugar and is something kids love. It takes just few minutes to prepare one so it also makes the quickest lunchbox item.

Preparation Time: 5 Minutes

Cooking Time: 5 Minutes

Ingredients Quantity
Wheat flour 2 cups
Sugar 1/2  cup
Salt small pinch
Vegetable oil for greasing

Method:

1. Take flour in a bowl and add small amount of water to knead the dough. Take an orange size ball from the dough and roll it like a puri and put 3 teaspoon sugar and a pinch of salt in the centre of puri. seal it tightly from all the sides as shown below in the picture.

2. Roll it again like a chapatti. Heat the tawa and put the paratha on it.

3.Turn it and sprinkle small amount of oil and cook it on medium flame till golden brown in the color from both the sides. Meetha paratha is ready, serve hot.
